“My PhD in 180 seconds”: 2016 edition

A formidable challenge and a unique opportunity to popularize a thesis topic, My thesis in 180 seconds brings together more and more participants each year. The competition allows PhD students to present their research topic, in French and in simple terms, to a lay and diverse audience. Everyone should make a clear, concise and yet convincing statement on his research project in three minutes. All with the support of a single slide!
This year’s competition takes place under the auspices of the University and Sorbonne University Cité and the final “institutions” will take place in Paris Diderot on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the amphitheater Buffon. This will make it possible to designate the candidate who will represent USPC at the national final in June.

Procedure and Registration

A pre-selection will be organized on the basis of the registration dossier, in order to designate the candidates who will participate in the Paris Diderot final organized in March 2016. PhD students who wish to participate in the Must submit the duly completed application form to the secretariat of their doctoral school no later than 6 pm on 16 March 2016.
