The CNRS Crystal Medal awarded to Sébastien de Raucourt

The CNRS has awarded this March 15 a large part of its Talents 2018. The silver, bronze and crystal medals, which reward researchers, engineers, technicians and administrators, this year distinguish 40 women and 42 men.

Research engineer in IPGP and Paris Diderot University, Sébastien de Raucourt works in the UnivEarthS team “I3 : Fundamental physics and Geophysics in space“. He receives the CNRS Crystal Medal for the excellence of his work.

Created in 1992, the Crystal Medal distinguishes every year CNRS engineers, technicians and administrative members of the institute. It rewards those who, through their creativity, technical mastery and innovative spirit, contribute alongside researchers to the advancement of knowledge and scientific discoveries.
