Fall school 2014 review
The first Labex UnivEarthS fall school took place in Florence (Italy) from October 26 to 31. On the subject “From Gaia to Gaia, observing and modelling”, it was designed to bring together the communities of Earth Sciences and Universe Sciences.
The thirty participants attended Geoscience and astrosciences courses and visited the gravitational wave detector VIRGO. They also discussed participants’ research topics.
This school has created many links between different disciplines and gave place to a very constructive dialogue for both participants and stakeholders.
Proud of our success we will renew this experience in 2015!
